Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Home Tool Creatives. Look, most people skip this page because it’s usually filled with boring lawyer-talk. We aren’t lawyers; we’re DIYers and gardeners. But we still need to set some ground rules so nobody gets hurt and nobody steals our hard work. If you stay on this site, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t like them, feel free to find another corner of the web.

1. Using Our Advice (The DIY Reality Check)

I get why this is confusing. Most people were taught this wrong—they think if they read an article online, they can suddenly rewire a house or build a deck without any risk. That’s a dangerous way to think.

The content on Home Tool Creatives is for informational purposes. We share what worked for us (Haroon and Asim), but your situation might be different. If you use a power tool and hurt yourself, or if you try a gardening hack and your plants die, that’s on you. We provide the guidance, but you provide the common sense.

2. The Math and Our Calculators

We put a lot of sweat into our Home Tool Calculators. Whether you’re using the Concrete Calculator or the Raised Bed Soil Calculator, we’ve done the heavy lifting on the math.

I get why this is confusing. Most people were taught this wrong—they think a calculator’s result is “law.” In the real world, bags of mulch vary, and concrete settles differently. Use our tools as a solid guide, but always buy a little extra just in case. We aren’t responsible if you run out of dirt halfway through a project because your measurements were slightly off. Same goes for the Mulch Calculator and Pool Volume Calculator. They’re here to help, not to replace professional site surveys.

3. Don’t Steal Our Stuff

We spend our weekends taking photos, testing tools, and writing this stuff. If we catch you copy-pasting our articles or stealing our calculator logic for your own site, we’ll take it personally.

Everything on this site—the text, the photos, and the code—belongs to us. You’re welcome to share a link to our Publication Page or show a friend a specific guide, but don’t pretend our work is yours. That’s a scam, and it’s lazy.

4. External Links (The “Wild West” Rule)

Sometimes we link to other sites or products. We do this because we think they’re useful. However, we don’t own those sites. If you click a link and end up on a page that tries to sell you something useless, don’t blame us. We try to keep our links clean, but the internet changes fast.

5. Commenting and Behavior

If we have a comments section open, don’t be a jerk. We like a good debate about tool brands or soil types, but we won’t tolerate spam or people being miserable to each other. We reserve the right to delete anything that looks like garbage.

6. Updates to These Terms

I get why this is confusing. Most people were taught this wrong—they think terms stay the same forever. We might change these rules as we add more features or as the law changes. We won’t send you a gold-plated invitation every time we change a sentence here. It’s your job to check back if you’re worried about it.

7. Limitation of Liability

To be blunt: we aren’t liable for any loss, injury, or damage that happens because you used our site. We provide honest info, but we don’t know your skill level or your specific backyard conditions. Use your head, stay safe, and don’t sue us because you didn’t wear safety goggles.

Contact Us

If you have questions about these rules or if you think something isn’t clear, you can reach out. We’re usually busy with a project, but we’ll get back to you.
